Step #1: Try On Your #Freerackfinds
Before you hang up and put away your new clothing, try them on first.
Does the clothing look the way you want it to? Are they your style? Can you alter them to fit you?
If you answered no to any of those questions, bring them back to the swap for someone else to take home. Your #FreeRackFind can turn into someone else’s #FreeRackFind 💚
Step #2: Cleanse Your #Freerackfinds
Now that you decided what you’re keeping, it’s time to cleanse your pre-loved clothes.
That’s right.
Bust out the sage, palo santo, or whatever you use to cleanse energy. These clothes carry the lives of their previous owners and everyone they’ve interacted with in their fibers. It’s important to clear that energy so you can start embodying your own power in these pieces.
Step #3: Wash/Dry Clean Your #Freerackfinds
Once that first step of cleansing is done, it’s time to do some more cleaning!
Do your garments need a wash or dry cleaning? Before you throw your clothes into the wash, check the label for cleaning instructions.
Most of our donations come previously washed, but washing them with your preferred detergents and scents is important in taking ownership of these items.
Step #4: Style Your #Freerackfinds
This last step is our fave because we love to see you in your FRFs!
Now that your clothes are clean and cleansed, it’s time to style your pre-loved clothes. Once you find a look you love, take a photo or a video and tag us in your #FreeRackFinds on Instagram and TikTok. ♻️
