Is the clothes free?

Yes, all of the clothes we share is free! Like free, free.

DO I NEED TO DONATE OR PROVIDE ANYTHING TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CLOTHING SWAP?

No! You’re free to participate in the swap without donating clothes or cash.

why do you PROVIDE free clothes?

Because overconsumption is killing our planet and profiting off of our communities. We want to encourage sustainable practices by providing free clothes so folks don’t have to buy new clothes. We’re keeping clothes out of landfills one clothing swap at a time.

WHAT KIND OF CLOTHES DO YOU TAKE?

We accept adult and kids clothing of all sizes. No shoes or accessories, please.

Can I bring back the clothing I picked up from the swap?

Yes, you can bring back clothing! If any of your #FreeRackFinds didn’t work out, please bring them back so they can go to a new home.

CAN I RESELL THE CLOTHES I PICK UP FROM YOUR SWAP?

We can’t control what you do with your #FreeRackFinds, but when you flip the clothes we provide to the community for free, you’re making our resources inaccessible for other folks. Re-selling clothes we provide to you for free is the antithesis of our ethos and not radical at all.

I CAN’T MAKE IT TO A SWAP. CAN I STILL DONATE MY CLOTHING?

Yes! Feel free to drop your donations off at any one of our #FreeRacks in the Los Angeles and Long Beach area. You can see a current list of #FreeRacks here.

Where do you pop-up?

Radical Clothes Swap pops up and hosts events in Los Angeles County.

HOW DO YOU SUSTAIN THE SWAP?

We make reusable tote bags, candles, stickers, and buttons and sell them at our pop-up events . We also accept monetary donations.
