What: We are sad to announce that this will be our final swap at ACB.
We have loved out time at the brewery! This wonderful space has been our home once a month since we started our residency in October 2022. We’ve swapped, sipped, and gotten to build community with so many of you! For this final event we will be doing things a little different.
FINAL SWAP GUIDELINES
We will NOT be accepting any donations.
Our free racks will be out for anyone to take any pieces they like, as always. However, we ask that you TAKE CONSCIOUSLY.
The event will end once all clothes on the racks have gone.
Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

At our One Stop Gear Swap, you can fuel your outdoor passion and get some outdoor gear and apparel. What’s even better is you’ll be doing it sustainably too! This is the third Gear Swap that the talented and passionate BIPOC volunteer leaders are putting together for FREE for our communities of color who are looking for free gear to get outside. The Gear Swap includes free community activities and workshops like bird walks around Debs Park and Teach Me to Camp Workshops. From tents, backpacking bags, outdoor clothes, this swap has it all! And No, you do not need to have gear to swap to join this event.

This year, we are taking are taking a retrospective journey and exploring the genres of Disco, Soul and Funk and how each contributed to the ever evolving genre of house. We welcome LA’s very own Soul Source to make you groove and present the building blocks that make house music the genre we all know and love today.

Looking to give your clothes a new life? Join us for a FREE Mending Cafe and Clothing Swap at McBride Park! Bring your lightly used clothes to trade and/or a garment to repair! 👕
Registered attendees may bring up to 10 clean clothing items that are in good, ready-to-wear condition. You do not need to participate in the swap to attend, so please register and join in on the fun! Resellers will not be permitted.
Repairing your favorite garments is another incredible sustainable option. @radicalsewist will host mending services and provide expert help to repair your damaged clothes. 🪡 If interested, please bring 1 clothing item that you would like to have mended. Some big knit fabrics require different mending techniques and may not be ideal for this event.

Visit one of our community racks! Located in Los Angeles and surrounding communities, our community racks are maintained by us and our partners at these locations. Each community rack has different guidelines, but the core still remains. Bring 5-10 pieces of clothing (or not) and take some clothes home for free! That’s right. This is just another step towards FREE CLOTHES FOR ALL.
